Cool Thinking about mowing the lawn.

It's pretty warm and has been for a while. We did get a few days where it got to the 20s but it's about 62 right now here in S.C Pa. Seriously, the grass really does need cut. Not complaining though! Our heat bill is practically nothing. I'm happy. And... Some of you guys who've been here for a while know that I'm not really fond of blowing snow anyway.

Keep getting teased with just enough snow to make icy slush or a day or two of white grass cover but not enough to pull the blower out for.
Rest of the time it's a lot greener than December should be.

.
Make sure the windows are up before the snow plow goes by !!

El Nin'o. I remember winters like this, going back to when I was a kid. Mom was hanging out clothes the day before Crhistmas. Nothing new. Just weather cycles.

Not much different all the way down here. They are calling for 57-48F.

And I might be tempted to mow, if it would stop raining.....

Garage:
MTD....2 stage(modern 8.5 HP) not my favorite
Honda HS622 TA-B - acquired at an auction- nice machine for it's size.
Toro S-140- Picked it up on trash day... it runs, sort of.

micah68kj is right. Weather just flips East to West. When you Easterners get hit hard. We get a drought out West.* With El Nino we get buried in snow, and you get cherry blossoms in December.

When the government tells us that it will take four to five years of average rainfall/snowpack to fill up our empty reservoirs, it takes one El Nino and we're full. And they never tell us the drought is "over" they just stop mentioning it. And continue to install water meters to charge us for water. If and when the government can charge us for air, they will.

* When he was governor in the '70's Gerry Brown attributed that decade's four years of drought to Global Cooling - no kidding. Now he attributes it to Global Warming. One thing is certain, he was lying both times. It's just weather.
