Im no pro but, I'm thinking 60's Snapper. Wheels, color scheme, and knob handles, hints me of The Snapper RER (Forrest Gump mower) of that era. Also that dash appears to resemble the the Snappers of late. Prior to the Briggs takeover and redesign. Just my 2cents.

I have to admit, I was thinking the same.

Garage:
MTD....2 stage(modern 8.5 HP) not my favorite
Honda HS622 TA-B - acquired at an auction- nice machine for it's size.
Toro S-140- Picked it up on trash day... it runs, sort of.
Yamaha YS 240 TB "Ricky" latest Craigslist find- on the bench now.

Well that one's answered. I have a little Eska Sno-Flyr, newer and I'm guessing that's were I've seen the skids before !! This one is much older and IMHO much better looking.

It was a well used (rusted and neglected) hand me down from my cousin in 2006 and burnt a lot of oil. I used it once and between the smell and all the rocks it was throwing it got parked and I was going to do something with it like overhaul the engine, maybe parts, maybe ... and then I started picking up 2 stages and it's been sitting in the corner forgotten for a decade.

No photo 5hp, 20" single stage Sno-Flyr with electric start
