Wanted: Ariens 524 or 724 Compact

Hi --
Looking for an Ariens 524 or 724 compact. I live in southern Wisconsin and probably wouldn't travel out of state to find the right blower. I hope this is enough info to describe what I'm looking for. If more is needed, just let me know!
Thanks for any suggestions!
Mike

Yes--thank you for that! I'm actually in contact with this gentleman and may be going to see it this weekend.

In my post I was actuallly asking about the 524E Compact (#932036) and the 724E Compact (#932037). I missed out on a 524 in Madison and was seeing if there might be others out there...those are the models I'd prefer, actually.

Thanks for your help and your post!!!!!!

Mike

I used a Modified Early 924 Series 10-32 Last Winter. The Previous 4 Seasons I used a Modified 1965 10000 Series.

Those are good looking machines! I imagine you do all your own maintenance. Thanks for sending those pictures along!

Do an Impeller Seal, and You Will be Amazed at what that Machine can do. You should replace the auger bearing if it has ANY Play at all. Also, a Taller Chute Makes a Marked Difference as Well. GL.

I second JM on the impeller seal kit and a taller chute (taller chutes on this machines along with impeller kit can double + the throwing distance)
