give us a model number and also a parts number if you have one. Murry made a lot of other machines as well so you might be able to cross one over to another brand.

3 Ariens 522 Single Stage
Toro 3521 Repowered with a 6.5hp
Craftsman 521 (selling)

other toys
Troybuilt Horse 70s or 80s model
Troybuilt Econo-horse
John Deere Jx75
John Deere Js46
John Deere 111

and a few other parts machines.

worm shaft turns but the auger shaft doesn't turn so I would figure keyway broke.
But the auger blades are rusted fast to the auger shaft and will not move at all with shear bolt out of it. I have heated the auger tube up to soild red and still auger assembly will not move at all.
plus the bearing are shot on gear box.
so the only way I know is to replace the whole auger, input shaft gear box assembly.
I just pick it from trash cirb last week. motor and trans work great.
i though i score, but my luck i didn't.
i try different sprays on shaft but no movment at all.
i got so mad i left the torch on the auger tube and shaft for about 3/4 hour and no go. then i spent over 1 1/2 hours heating tube up to soild red and hit the auger shaft and still no moving the auger blades.

ok even if I could get the whole housing and auger assembly cheap. because I'm not going to spend a lot on it because I seen when I pick it , its built cheap and I will just part out the rest of machine.

How did you get the augers off? I tried everything you posted that you tried.
I have same model. The cheap brass worm gear is also shot.
Where did you get new gear? How much?
