Honda HS chuter motor wanted.

Im looking for a chuter motor from a Canadian Honda with electric chute. If you have a parts machine with electric chute I am interested in a motor for a spare. As far as I can find out All the Canadian HS models with electric chutes take the same chuter motor. The new HSS motors are not interchangeable with these. Thanks guys!
PM me if you have a good working one or 2.

I have a new Honda HSS Snowblower Chuter Motor Assy 361100-V45-A03 that I ordered assuming that they would be the same. I will sell it if anyone is interested.

Can you swap just the motor portion and reuse the gear portion?

Possibly. But the motor themselves even are different HSS to HS whole other deal. even wire hookups are different. Prob better off just to get an exact swap out. Motor and gear come as a unit. I contacted a dealer and yes they can still be bought new. $205. + tx currently on backorder at least 2 weeks out. I found a place in Japan that I can order it direct and its currently available at about 1/2 dealers price. Im looking for a spare so Im not really in a rush. There should be a parts machine or 2 out there . We have had the electric option in Canada for a long time.

200 bucks yikes.

If the pitch of the gear will work with the chutes ring gear, I would retrofit the mounting on the machine to work.

You should be able to find a window motor electrical pigtail to attach to Solder to your wire harness.

Have one and have compared them. Seems like a no go. Well I shouldnt say impossible. But it would be more than I want to take on. Motor for HSS is only $35. US plus ship. Thats not bad at all.

The advantage to ‘if you get it to work’ will be that if it was to fail again it will only cost $35 to replace it.

  • Here you go:

New, $100 + shipping. Maybe $140 total. +/-.

Straight from the Motherland, best I can do.
