Need LCT 208 Heater Box Cover Plate

I purchased a SnoTek Ariens 920402 with a 208cc LCT engine. The owner couldn't find the heater box plate that covers the left side. I could fab one but hope to find a replacement if possible. A photo is attached of the open area where the plate is attached by 6 screws. Thanks

Thatís a older one, looks to be just a flat plate so should be pretty easy to fab one of you canít find a replacement, I would watch eBay for it as thatís where most parts are easiest to find.

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

rod do you have any model #'s off the engine...usually starts with PLM for example.....Long number as well.

for a 223cc here is an example of a model #: PLMHK14700124PBKPQRUV13E1M

The engine model number is engraved into the engine block on the flat side opposite the spark plug.

The model number will start with a 'LMH', 'PLMH', 'PLX” or 'PW'.

Thanks for the reminder, I certainly should have posted that as well.

SimplicitySolid22, great finds- thank you so much!

I'm not much of a tinsmith but I'm inclined to give it a whirl since it's a rather simple metal plate. It's a crying shame you have to buy the entire heater box assembly to get the cover plate. I'll buy one if my handiwork is a flop.

Thanks again!

As I have said many times I love doing the research part.....I am not handy at all but I have learned a lot being on here from these good fellas.
I tried to find just the side panel for you but yeah you have to buy the whole box.....SHOCKER!!! Ha-ha.

I would give it a try like you said.... Make a cardboard template and maybe a metal shop near you could cut one out for you cheap if it is a pain??????

Or if you are like Spicoli maybe you have an awesome set of tools????
