WTB Simplicity 1691360 or 1690982

Picked up a Sunrise 18 and would like to locate someone that has one of these snow throwers laying around gathering dust. I live in Iowa, and have no problem traveling to surrounding states.
Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike..
a couple things:

I googled those simplicity model numbers, and it looks like they are tractor-mounted snowblowers..correct? If so, you will probably have better luck on our sister sites:

Lawn Mower Forums : Lawnmower Reviews, Repair, Pricing and Discussion Forum

and

Tractor Forum : MyTractorForum.Com Tractor Forums

Because this site is 99% about "walk behind" snowblowers..we get very little discussion on tractor-mounted snowblowers here..

Also, the internet seems to have no reference to a "sunrise 18" in relation to simplicity or tractors..what is that?
Also, I dont know what "WTB" means..you might want to clarify that if you make a post on the other forum..good luck with your quest!

Scot

WTB = Want To Buy

Please direct all snow blower questions to the forums and not to me with PMs.

Check Craig's List. There are usually a lot of Simplicity related postings for them. You'll probably have to expand your search to areas beyond your immediate area, and you might have to travel a bit to get what you're looking for.

I found this 42" single stage in Sheboygon, WI. A long drive for you, and they don't mention the model number, but maybe worth a call.

Could you be talking about a Sunstar 18? From what I've read, those are great tractors.

Good luck in your search, but you might ask for private messages from anyone saying they have what you are looking for and get their contact information.

I'm pretty much retired from the forum thing, but I check in every now and then.

Garage
OK, now it's making some sense.
Looking for a blower attachment to a rider. When I first read it I was thinking he was looking for a parts machine for his SS 18" blower. I was more confused than Scot !!

.
Make sure the windows are up before the snow plow goes by !!

Yep. Thats pretty much it. I found one in Indiana using searchtempest and just had it shipped in this morning. Paid $250 total. Not a bad looking unit with minimal usage. Now to find an operators manual. Hard to make heads or tails on how to hook up properly to the PTO.
I appreciate the responses here.
Thank You!

Hey, that's great! Hope you'll share pictures of your tractor and snow blower attachment when you get it all set up.
