Thumbs up Fancy new shoes for the Toro 1128 OXE Power Max!

Hello everyone!

This is Hanky's Toro! I am the photographer in charge of posting.

We got the skids in today and installed them with very little effort. We used some washers to space the shoes away from the sides because of the lip on the front edge. This blower has the spring loaded scraper blade!!

Here are some pics for you to enjoy! We hope!

Very nice. The added length will prevent the bucket from getting dinged up an glide over any cracked pavement.

Toro 8/24 (38080) 1989
Toro 421-QZE (38585) 2008

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Thanks guys! Hanky loves his new Toro toy!! He bashed it a little in the ice and snow here and he bought it gently used from the dealer in town. It is a 2014 model and they used it around the outside of their building to clear the sidewalks. The new shoes will be nice. I don't think we are fans of the spring loaded scraper blade. It is funky don't you think?

armor skids are a great upgrade over stock skids, i'll never go back to stock skids. I think my old 826 has a spring loaded scraper bar which has never been a problem even with all the uneven pavement I have here

For when the other old boys down the street complain about their Craftsman not blowing on grass and uneven driveways I can say this is where and what you need.
