ARMORskids Professional Series

I've gotten quite a few people asking about a 'professional series', so here are the details.
I've been working with some snow removal contractors that I initially met through the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA) to develop a skid unique to their needs. They have a small fleet of Ariens snowblowers that they use to service contracts for locations (malls) that restrict use of their heavier bobcats. They run their machines for 8-10 hours at a time, and needed skid protection that would last.

ARMORskids rose to the challenge with a skid a full 1/2 inch thick. Designed exclusively for the Snow Removal professionals who run their machines nonstop, the new professional series has a full 1/2 inch thick steel bottom runner for long life. (2.78″ Slot Spacing For TORO-OFFSET Machines - OR - 3″ Slot Spacing For Ariens Machines)

See my website for details and ordering. Please note that this skid is complete overkill for homeowners, and even many professionals. I've been selling this skid exclusively to contractors, but people keep asking about it. So here's a pic.

ArmorSkid Positioning Theory

I just installed mine, but used the slot in the very front of the shoe pictured after discovering that the shoe incline would be in the same position as the original skid if I mounted them that way. The longer shoe supports and centers on the cutter bar now, providing protection to it. Running at a 3/16 inch bar height, I need all the support I can get! The proof is in the pudding, however, and now we await the first snow to test my theory.
A small point, but it would be nice if you guys could powder coat some of these skids in Ariens Orange as well as black!
