How much does it hit by? Maybe can be modified by cutting and re-welding it in another position? or possibly reposition it with extensions or spacers .... its amazing what Yankee Ingenuity can do.

I have the 7100-02 .... the 7 HP Tecumseh is still running great after all these years ... my Father bought it new in like 69' or 70' ... always change the oil over the past few years with the 5W30 full synthetic. Just did an oil change today, and putting new XTrac tires on it ... I wore out the original Chevron tires, and wore out a pair of SnowHogs as well.

Strange how much of a different set up the 7100-02 is from your 7020.
