Why no love for this little guy? I know it's no monster, but at least it appears to have some Ariens quality and support vs some of the other junk you might buy brand new....https://www.homedepot.com/p/20-in-2-Stage-Electric-Start-Gas-Snow-Blower-920406/302848692

I inherited a Sno Tek snowblower with an LCT motor. Last winter It ran fine a couple of times, but became sad. It wouldn't consistently run and was spritzing oil/fuel mix from the 2 exhaust pipes. We didn't have a rough winter so I put it away for the season until it was warm out and I could...
  3. Sno-Tek Snowblowers
My Sno Tek 28 seems to start up fine on first pull and then die after a few minutes of running -- anywhere from 5-15 minutes on average. After it dies, it becomes progressively harder to start it up again. I gave the LCT StormForce 208cc engine a full tune-up including oil change, spark plug...

I have a sno-tek 24, model # 920402. The RPM is throttling high and low. I purchased a carb kit and cleaned out the pins, but the problem is still there so I'm assuming the next step would be to replace the fuel lines. Does anyone know what size the fuel line is and a recommendation where to...

Recently got a Sno-Tek with a dead engine Model 920402 so not too old and in really good shape minus the engine, But today picked up a LCT 254CC from a Husqvarna and it uses the same mounting holes and shaft location so it is a drop in replacement. Not to mention it also has a coil so a...

I have a Sno-Tek 902402 and this is my second season using it. Today when clearing my driveway, I noticed that my snow blower was having a hard time throwing the snow, and was making a whining noise. I checked the front gear case and it was full. When I manually move the impeller, it moves...

Hi - my Sno Tek 920402 824 is barely moving with a jerk or a continual bang when I engage the drive system. Same problem forward and reverse. Cables are fine and tight. Auger is perfect and throws snow a mile. 3 years old, maybe 25 hours of use. Any thoughts or help before I start...

Hello from Ohio, I pulled my trusty Sno tek out of the Barn to prep for winter and had some minor problems, Model 939401 Sno Tek 20 E, Serial 35000, Geini 208CC Snow engine. Unit was stored with Fuel Shut off and Tank filled with Stabilized fuel. When I opened the Fuel valve and Hit the...

I was wondering which is more reliable... The Sno-Tek 24" or the Briggs and Stratton 1227MD? I like the Sno-Tek because it is made by Ariens but I like the features on the Briggs better. Briggs...

Hello guys, i have a sno-tek 24" snowblower, any recommendations on an impeller kit? I just found out about what an impeller kit does and it looks something i want to install on my snowblower. It's a little too late for me to buy a kit since the northeaster is hitting us tonight, but for future...

Years ago I bought a 24" Sno-tek from HD. It was a promotional ad. This particular model comes with a 136cc lct engine. I bought it just before a snow storm. The thing never really ran right. Brand new out of the box it always surged. This fall I started it up and then it quit altogether...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the fuel control valve on the Sno-Tek 24 fully shut off fuel? Once every 2 months or so I fire up the snow blower just to make sure it's in running condition. I've had the blower for 2 years now. Last go round, push in primer bulb after turning on the fuel...

Hi All, First time poster here - I bought a new Sno-Tek 24E 208CC at the end of last season. The snow came a little earlier than expected this year before I got a chance to change the oil for the first time. Well tonight I went out to change it and couldn't get the drain plug to budge. I even...

Good Day Everyone, First time poster here :). Having trouble w/ my 28" Sno-Tek starting this fall. The unit is about 3 yrs old, and before I stored it for summer I let it run all the gas through. It was stored in the garage (without fuel or stabilizer). This fall, it just refuses to start...

The 20" Sno-Tek actually looks pretty good for $500 on sale. It has to be better than anything else that's new in that price range. Electric start, 6 speeds, probably enough power for its size. Ariens quality and 2 year warranty. There are a lot worse choices.
