Modified 1971 Ariens 10000 series 32 wide. Main snow thrower. Used commercially.
Unit is powered by a Predator 212 that runs at approximately 4400 rpm, unit has more than enough power to barrel thru the heaviest snow, launching it as far as 40+ feet. Holy grail chute, tallest chute Ariens made that bolts onto these machines. Modified chute turning rod goes up further to user, no bending required to turn chute. Metal belt guard vs the plastic one. Heavy duty v bar tire chains for superior traction. Unit is a beast.

Modifications

When those chains finally wear out, I have a set of larger Snapper rims with Snohogs that will bolt to those hubs, I will combine the snohogs with chains, that was the best combo I ever had, they rolled smoothly, the chains went in between the tread and allowed it to give a little bite on pavement without bouncing. Although the current setup is bumpy, traction is excellent.

Yeah, I understand. I've only used old, poor-fitting chains and didn't like them. I finally got some Carlisle's a few weeks ago to try out next season.
