History
Started off original and was slowly modified into the beast of a thrower it is today. This thing literally clobbers the Snow. Will lug anything thrown at it, no problem.
1971 Ariens Sno-Thro 24" wide model 910962, bucket attachment 910995.
Upgraded 212cc Hemi Predator, medium chute, v bar tire chains for superior traction and other great modifications. Tackles snow like nobody's business. An absolute beast of a Snow Thrower.
Originally had a 7hp Tecumseh H70 which was a fine engine, but became tired. Was upgraded to the hemi Predator 212 and now throws snow roughly twice as far with far more rapid capacity. Auger and impeller speed were increased substantially simply from the more powerful engine it now has. A true workhorse. Old Iron combined with modern technology make this unit very reliable and hard working. Works as good and in most cases, better tham most modern snow blowers. Unit currently has a set of older style augers from 1969, because my impeller got bent and I had a spare 1969 unit with a perfectly straight Impeller so I swapped it right in.
