Bought it used 5 years ago. It has a Tecumseh 5.5 OHV engine and I am truly amazed at the power of this little engine(seems comparable to an 8HP flat head). We get some snow here in upstate NY and 1 1/2 to 2 hours of run time for each good snow. Awesome machine!
