I was thinking the other day about how much of a pain it is to re-adjust the deflector on my chute and how nice it would be to have the control back where all the others are, but I'm kind of stumped on where to start.

The first place I looked was on eBay and I came across this: Husqvarna 587030801 Deflector Control ASM For ST268EP ST324P ST327P ST330P OEM | eBay

It's pretty much all I would need and I'd just need to make some mounting hardware to hold everything in place.

I'm curious if there's another thread or if anyone has some tips for making this work without much hassle.

I would think with some thought, and sketching it out, one could be implemented with rods (maybe threaded rods also?) and swivel point brackets.

I have a Cub Cadet which operates the deflector via cables.
