Now that we have my Murray starter straightened out, Thank You, I can turn my attention to my Ariens.

As I stated it's an early 70's 7hp machine. When I open the fuel valve on the gas tank you can count to 5 and then the carb is leaking. And it's not a drip!

It won't start either, but I assume that's because the fuel is on the ground and not in the engine.

The carb was replaced about 6 years ago if that helps.

Thoughts??

Sounds like the float is either stuck or has a hole in it and is sinking. The other possibility is the needle and seat are bad and the valve isn't sealing. The other possibility is that the jet and bowl nut are leaking too. Guess we would need to know where the flea is leaking out to know the problem. A good cleaning should take care of it.
