Hi, awhile back I scored a Bobcat that got resurrected including paint. That one was a great find. Today I got a Spirit 10-33. Big,heavy, rusty with no obvious damage. It turned over but felt funny-would seem to lock. Pulled auger housing and found huge nest in bottom-much fabric bedding plus walnut shells. Took off belts and it turned but still stopped. Flywheel shroud also had home addition w bedding etc. Pulled the head just to see and bore looks fine. Auger gearbox appears to be packed w black(moly?) grease. It looks like it won't take a lot to get this one in nice shape. I should have took some pix b4 I removed the nest. So far I'm impressed w the Canadian build quality-plated bolts, heavy metal etc. Anyone got leads for parts hunting? Thanks GJ:eek:hmy:

No advice but this is a keeper, Noma - great machine, well built, tough, simple, large impeller 12"? Tall auger housing, 10hp - a beast.

Change the gearbox lube using synthetic.
