I have a snowblower that I am trying to mount to my Honda Foreman four wheeler using a horizantal motor but I have a few questions.

1. It looks like the shaft is mounted to a pulley behind the auger, but there are additional pulleys and belts that I am scratching my head on to there purpose, I'll try and upload a pic

2. What is the recommended hp to use withour the fear of being underpowered, I'm looking at a 15 or 16hp.

3. What is the recommended RPM the shaft should spin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I suspect that is meant to be PTO driven (540RPM?).
The pulleys are a transmission to correct the speed.

Impeller speed should be between 900-1100 RPM. I'd shoot for the lower range (1000RPM) since I believe those have 16" impellers.

it's probably one of these:

831009 - oldest style
831010
831025
831032
831040
831042
831045- newest style

Start going over parts diagrams and see which style matches yours best, then once you narrow it down, do a service manual search.
