Hi folks,
The 9222022 I am working on is not staying in gear properly. If you put it in 2nd the disk wheel will move out gradually to fourth gear position. I have tried tightening the nut at the gear shift, but modestly,
Thanks

Could it be a 922022 ?? ST624

Did it just start happening or was it after some work was done on it ??
I'm at a loss but hopefully someone like Scot will chip in. I'm used to seeing some sort of notched shifter where you have to move it out and then into another gear/notch. From the diagram I can't see anything like that.

Kind of a long story, but I got 4 Snow Blowers at once, all were left outside in unknown condition. I cranked down the bolt/spring/nut a bit more (I actually did have this apart to pull the handle off) I did not really note how tight it was before, this could be the issue, notches are a better solution, this is like an old 10 speed bike from the 60's, lol.

Thanks for deleting the other post.
