I have a 2005 White Outdoor 540G LT riding mower, with a Fast Attach snowblower model: 190-032.

I bought the snowblower attachment in 2008, it has worked flawlessly and great. This year I have used it once with no problems. But yesterday while in the middle of blowing out of this winter storm, the whole mower died. I restarted it, and now everytime I engaged the PTO handle the mower dies. I checked the belts, they seem tight. I also checked the shear pins and any obstruction in the chute or auger. I cannot find anything that would be causing it to lock up or bind.

Any ideas what this might be before I go tearing into the blower?

Well I started tearing into the snowblower yesterday. After taking the auger out I heard a loud klunk. A 2 inch rock was wedged behind the impellar and was not visible to see. Everything seems to be working fine and in good order now. I was a little nervous about the $400 right angle drive having to be replaced.
