Added 1 detent on the height adjustment
the bottom detent is max height
then there is gap and 1st detent they say is max throw
there is a big gap with nothing so i added 1 detent just below the max throw detent
i forgot to take a pic before i did it

So how does the new detent affect the deflector position? Perhaps pics of stock deflector high position v new deflector high position. Pics from side and at the hinge area perhaps would show the change.

It adds a lil more height to the flap from there max throw detent as the new detent its going down toward there max height notch
i will try and get pics later today

Thanks for the pics, the deflector does look higher after your detent change, well done. On my machine the deflector height is governed by the spring tension provided the cable has enough slack to allow full deflector movement.

Congratulations on your innovation.
