Hello everyone I wondering if anyone can identify the year of my new to me craftsman snowblower
The Machine has points and condenser if that helps

Wondering if that is the original engine. On those silver blowers, all I've ever seen were painted black.

Yeah, I would probably think Craftsman did not put an Ariens Orange color engine on there older silver snow blowers ...... just sayin

And there you go. Showing me something new. Is that possibly a Canadian market thing? Never seen one in Upstate NY where I'm from.

I have seen many of the older silver coloured Craftsman machines with red engines, I think they eventually switched to black engines.

I have the exact same unit as a back up blower and the old guy I bought it from said he got it from Sears in 1986. I also have the red/orange paint on mine. I'll check my tags and see if the year is on it. For some reason I thought the year was the numbers by the serial number but I'll see if it matches up with the old owners story.
