I have an 11/30 Craftsman...different model number than yours, but very similar looking to the pic you posted. I'm listing the parts page and numbers, so you can see my model number and part numbers. Thanks for the tip! If it's not too inconvenient, would you mind measuring the vertical height of your chute from the 5/16" carriage bolts to the top of the top edge of the deflector? I've seen the chute you have with the remote deflector control and I'm trying to determine if it's the same height as the tall chute I'm looking at the picture I posted (with doesn't include a remote deflector. If not, no big deal. I can can probably post this question in the Craftsman / Murray forum too. No problem. Just to be clear, what you are calling the deflector is the same as item 580 on my parts list (upper chute)? So the length of the entire 2 part assembly as it is bolted together?
Yes, I meant the upper chute. I'm not sure why I didn't call it that in the first place, especially since it was clearly labeled in the parts list you provided! I attached a crude image with some arrows. I'm basically looking for the tallest overall chute height when the upper chute is in it's most "upright" position relative to the common mounting location (5/16" mounting hole) or close to it so I can make an "apples to apples" comparison with my current short plastic chute and the other "tall metal chute assembly I'm looking for".

I'm really grateful that you mentioned the across diameter dimension! I assumed (don't know why) that these were a standard size. I just measured my chute and it's 6 1/2 inches across as well! Thank you! The search continues! Also, my plastic chut is only 18 inches tall
Based on looking at how other people retrofitted a metal chute and measuring my machine today, I think this could work. How much would you want for the chute?
The chute I'm looking for doesn't have the remote deflector control (reference the picture in my original post). Best of luck with your machine!
