Cub Cadet led lights

Hello everyone!! I am new to this forum. My question is that I just bought the

Cub Cadet 3X 26 in. 357cc Three-Stage Electric Start Gas Snow Blower with Steel Chute, Power Steering and Heated Grips
This model already has two led lights on it. But would like install a small led light bar on the front of it. Since there is already led lights on and splice into those wires. Do I still need to install a rectifier and capacitors. Tyia!!

Measure the voltage with your Digital Multimeter where it feeds to the current LEDs. If it's A/C, then your new LED will either need to have the rectifier onboard, or you'll need to add it in-line.

If you don't have a DMM, you need one for $7ish...

Do I still need to install a rectifier and capacitors.
This is a thing of the past as a buyer should shop for modern LED lamp assemblies that are made with them.

It's also the sellers' incentive to mention this clearly in product descriptions.
