Purchased a R Tek short block new old stock. Is it worth the effort of deburring the port edges without splitting open the crankcase? Any tips on deburring?

I installed a new short block only once many years ago, and it did not require any de-burring to be performed, and everything moved over onto the new block just fine. Still running today like new.

Pics help

Sorry no pics until I start my summer project. The top of cylinder is still sealed with the factory plastic film.

I will look for burrs when I rotate the piston from TDC and expose both intake and exhaust ports. It is a 141cc engine, do u think there is enough room to file the port edges from the top of the short block? This is a hobby project and I never rebuilt a lawn mower engine in High School.
