Anyone else notice this?

I have a 2014, 24" Platinum (921028) and just noticed that when the deflector chute is turned full left, the deflector cable is rubbing on the tire on left side. (Deflector full left puts the cable into max slack). The deflector cable apparently is supposed to hang free.

I'm afraid that with so much slack, the cable could possible get caught in the tire cleats. (Not likely perhaps, but it is in full contact with the tire).

When the deflector chute is in straight ahead and full right positions, the slack is taken up and there's no possibility of the cable slacking enough to come in contact with the tire.

Unable to find anything in the manual as to how or where to attach the cable up somewhere to prevent this. (So as not to confuse anyone, I'm talking about the deflector cable, not the chute lock cable which IS chipped up out of the way).

That's what I was looking for, didn't see the hook under there.
Thanks.
