I use Surface Shield, but really I would be fine with using any of the lanolin based products, including Fluid Film, which is also a great product. Surface shield is more tacky than Fluid Film.

I have not been yelled at yet for recommending Fluid Film Lanolin Lubricant in the aerosol rattle can,
quart can, gallon can, 55 gallon barrel, 275 gallon pallet tote or 330 gallon pallet tote.

I prefer it because it's less smelly... Fluid Film smells like a sheep farm.

Fluid Film, Someone Should Have Warned Me!

Every year on my old T-100, I would spray lubricating oil, something a little heavier than WD-40 into the weep holes on the pinch seams on my rocker...

I use Fluid Film, as well. For me, it seems to last longer than silicone sprays.

I am firm believer that Fluid Film will also keep rodents out of an engine if it is applied on areas they'd traverse to get inside it. I wouldn't want to crawl on the stuff either!

The only downsides with FF is that dust sticks to it like crazy and the smell is definitley different.
