My name is Chris and I have an Ariens Pro28 that had a broken driven pulley for the tracks and bad friction wheel. When I replaced the parts, I had a spring left over and have no bloody clue where it came from. Do any of you recognize it or know where it goes?

Thanks for the help!

Copy this link it may help you. Once you get your service manual, and spot the spring, and most likely you will be able to replace it where it goes.

Meanwhile one of the Ariens owners may chime in with more info.

In my opinion, Johnny_w's is close, but not the exact spring.

By looking at the top part of johnny_w's and looking at the left side of chris' the "hook" part of johnny's does not angle back like chris' does.

Chris, what is your true model number? Yea, I see it is a Pro 28, but at the back side bottom of the blower, called the tractor, Ariens puts a white sticker (on the more recent models) that would have a number such as 926320. Can you provide that?

If so, Ariens has a web site dedicated to part look up on all their machines

Then we can help you with the hunt.
