I'm very happy to join this site and glean as much knowledge as I can from the members. I purchased a Craftsman 247.88890 Tracked Snow Thrower in 2005/6 which has served me well until now. My neighbors laughed at my purchase as here in SE WA (Tri Cities) we receive "heavy snow" (by our standards) perhaps once every five years. But when it hits... I'm the most popular guy in the neighborhood!

As I indicated, I'm having problems with the drive shaft assembly, which I'll post on the appropriate forum. Thanks for your future advice!

Welcome to the forum.

Machine used every 5 years, that would mean it has only seen 3 winters of use, should be in great condition for it's age. We love photos?

I imagine you completely drain the fuel system each spring?
