Once it starts, it's great.
I need to know more about the primer operation. If I disconnect the bulb, I am able to blow into the hose with no pressure buildup. The hose is intact. How does the primer work with a single hose going into the bowl?

Thanks,

Newer or older Briggs 305cc?

Possibly the primer bulb has a crack or tear in it. I *believe* it should push a slight burst of air into the carburetor bowl causing the fuel to squirt up the main jet into the throttle body.

Does the engine start easily with choke and electric start?

I have a new Briggs 305cc and it is a 1 pull start with a squirt of the primer bulb (and choke)
