Was this not the older 4HP unit? ... highly doubt they had a stator, and no light option I ever recall.
What is the engine that is currently on it as well as its engine number?
For like 30.00, you may just want a rechargeable, magnetic LED like this, comes in 15 or 30 watts.... we used to use similar at Amtrak. ... This way, you can also have an emergency light for use anywhere when not using on the snowblower.
