God bless our Vets and the freedom we enjoy daily. My Dad came in through Normandy, Central France, Northern Europe and the Battle of the Bulge. Grateful for our allies in Canada and England for their incredible support!!! My Dads' brothers were in WWII Navy & Army Air Force supporting the Pacific Theater also. Thanks for your correct observation and thanks for your Dad's brave support!!!
And your dad as well!! My father pretty much moved thru the same areas as your father so who knows , they may have met. Dad went on to fight in Korea and did fight along side the US as well. WE all did our part to end those wars and others since , my youngest son did a tour in Afgahnistan in 2009 . Both my sons are in the CDN military (medical officers) and one daughter in law a medic as well .
