That link went to the Ariens Classic 24 for me which is what the model 920025 is per Ariens website.

Thanks for checking. I can only assume that 18 days ago Home Depot had an incorrect photo on their website as this is the comment that confused me.

NOT!!! last years sno-tek. Sno-tek has different motor and more plastic parts than Ariens. If you look one can see that the oil drain on the sno-tek is on the side of motor. Ariens oil drain is on the back. For $50 bucks more get the ariens and 1yr more warranty.

If it is genuinely model 920025, and if it says "Classic 24",
then it is absolutely a new and current 2018 model..
Model 920025 and "Classic 24" didn't exist last year, both are new for this year:

But! here is something interesting..
I suspect that the new 920025 "Classic 24"
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Ariens-Classic-24-in-2-Stage-Electric-Start-Gas-Snow-Blower-920025/301858403

Is perhaps/probably the intended replacement for the:

920402 Sno-Tek 24
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Sno-Tek-24-in-2-Stage-Electric-Start-Gas-Snow-Blower-920402/202222489

The Classic-24 has a different bucket than the Sno-Tek, and a metal chute rather than plastic..
Im not sure what other differences there are..It looks like the Classic 24 is a small step-up from Sno-Tek,
but the differences probably aren't large..

I have suspected for a few years that Ariens might be discontinuing the Sno-Tek line..
there has only been one Sno-Tek model, the 920402, for the past 3 years.
I suspect the new Orange Classic 24 will be the new entry-level model, and we might not see Sno-Tek's next year..
just a guess, but it adds up..

(Sno-Tek *IS* Ariens, it's been their "entry level" line since 2010.)
