Honda Dealer Donated This HS50 Snowblower For Our Next Give Away ! WILL IT RUN???
The other day one of our local Honda dealers came to visit my shop and talk Honda snowblowers.
He and his head mechanic are also members of my Honda group and they help members with questions. His name is Dan and he runs a Honda and rental shop in Tahoe City California. They also work on boats which makes sense since they are right on Beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Well, anyways, He donated this old 44 year old Honda HS50 snowblower which I hope I can get running and driving to give away to someone in our community. Dan ( in picture ) also gave me some spare parts as you can see . ( picture used with permission )

It has been sitting idle for years at Dan's showroom parked next to a NEW Honda HSS1332 to show customers the difference from the first generation Honda 2 stage from around 1979 to the present day 2023 Honda's.
It's very very clean, nearly showroom looking condition. It will be a challenge getting it running and driving again after sitting for many many years. I may use this thread to show the process to go thru from start to finish.
