A friend whom I help out a lot got a new mower because his existing one had a broken air filter cover and couldn’t be pulled backward. Dropped it off last weekend and said keep it. He said it’s about 10 years old, I know its newer than my current mower.
Wheel gears cleaned and it now can be pulled backwards. I received a new carb yesterday (if you know Honda mowers than you know replacing the air filter box means removing the carb) and the cover should be here by Friday. Will replace this weekend and try it out.

I got some parts, air filter cover (to replace the broken one) and a new carb. The carb is incorrect. I ended up using my original mower this weekend and have decided that this one isn’t worth any more of my effort.
If anyone wants it I’m in Connecticut, just outside of Danbury, you pick it up and it’s yours. Otherwise it goes in the lawn with a free sign for a couple days and then to the scrapper. I still have the original dirty carb
