The Dipstick Tube, is broken off at about 2" from its bottom and I need to replace it. Can anyone tell me, if it is screwed into the engine block or just pressed in? I believe that the engine is a 8hp Tecumseh. Thanking all in advance.

Usually they just pull out.

Screws in just like the drain plug it is in place of.
