I am almost out of room

Went out to organize my shed and put my newly fixed hs720 for storage. I still have to fit my John deere riding mower in there. I might be able to fit one more single stage.

Seen a big hawk scanning my back yard on my way out.

Well, to me it looks pretty obvious, you need more space! Have you discussed using the dining room or living room with your other half? What else are they good for during the warm months?

well ....i dont love snowblowers that much. i have a 2 car garage as well but with my wife's car needing 1 spot and my KZ750 project bike her aprilia scooter and my large toolbox that pretty much takes up the other spot.

I am happy i dont need any more.

build another shed. throw the kids out to make more room.

whatever you have is never enough. you may need a backup. or a neighbor may need one. or you'll sell one and need another. I have pallets on the side of the house and cover them with tarps when i run out of room in garage. wife don't like it but i asked her if she rather i go to the bars.

case closed.

At one point this winter I had 5 blowers, two push mowers, and a power washer taking up 2/3 the floor space (10x12)...with shelving units and my tool chest the rest. I was out of room. I had no room to work on anything.

Selling a couple blowers off, and a mid-winter serious re-org later...lot more room but still way too crowded.

I've considered replacing my shed or extending the size of the current shed...but I'm beginning to contemplate building a small simple shed adjacent to my current one. All I'd put into it is my machines.

I actually a couple times this winter dreamed of winning the lottery - and the dreams centered on only one thing...My Dream Garage. Not some big fancy house or anything really new otherwise. Just a big awesome garage equipped with everything I'd want to maintain equipment I had the night of the dream.

Weird...

there's a great facebook group called man caves, garages and something else. guys are always posting pics of their shops and garages. some must have won the lottery to put some of those things up. that is what i would do if i got a huge inheritance or won the lottery. probably a 6 car garage with all the trimmings.

i would say sell some of those single stage machines or at least build a shelf to put them on above the 2 stage machines/lawnmowers. i usually store my snowblowers under my outdoor tire rack in the summer. i even built the tire rack with the intention of storing snowblowers under it but usually you need to have the deflector pointed down to fit under the tires and 2 machines should fit side by side as long as the combined width isn't over 52" or so. use to have a 30" and 20" machine there and it was a snug fit.

idk single stages are my bread and butter .they sell like hotcakes around here in the fall or when storms hit. people want relief but dont want to spend a fortune so i can sell them for around $200 all day.

it still wouldn't hurt to build a shelf to set the single stage machines on above the 2 stage machines/lawnmower. would free up a lot of space in the shed especially if you plan on fixing them regularly.
