Yes it can easly be done.
I dont know what HSSK stands for but HSK stands for Horizontal Snow King.
OHV stands for over head valve.
Just make sure the shaft is the same lenght and size.

Thanks

i'm about to order the engine. The shaft is the same so i thought that it would work but before i drop the cash, can always use extra info. found HSSK= Horizontal Short frame Snow King. Just wanted to be sure on the mounts and that 'Short Frame' only means stroke length

I just swapped (yesterday) froma Horizontal Tecumseh Snow King to a Briggs & Strattion Overhead Snow Intek. The Overhead cam engine is a lot wider towards the bottom. It was a little bit of a pita but I had to re-route my chute control level way down and to the left. Not too big a deal but that was the main difference in my honest opinion. She gets a lot of torque too.
