I'v been wanting to try out a single-stage blower, thinking it might be more useful for small snows, and for cleaning up what my big old machine leaves on the pavement.

So I picked up this orange plastic machine for $5 at a sale. It seems, frankly, like a rather flimsy little machine, it needs a lot of attention, and I'm wondering if it's worth bothering with.

It needs paddle rubber, scraper piece, skids, and more.

Any thoughts?

Throw it away. Most single stage machines that are beat up and worn down and have not been maintained are not worth trying to fix back up unless you don't mind throwing money at it.

You could easily sink 50 bucks or more into that little gem and for that money you'd be halfway to a decent machine. Wish it luck and put it out front with a "FREE" sign on it. MH
