I have a less than one year old John Deere 928E snowthrower. I bought it at Lowes last season. Late in the season it began leaking oil, so it had to be sent back and repaired already. Was just a loose bolt per the repairshop.

My current problem is that is will run for about 5 minutes and then sputter and stall out. It has clean gas with stabilizer and the oil is full. I wouldn't think it would be the spark plug because it is starting up fine (has electric start). Even if I don't use it, and just let it run to warm up, it ends up stalling out after 5 minutes.

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Thanks

Also check the gas cap vent, if OK then check the fuel shut off is not particaly closed, then check the fuel line. If that is all good then I would clean the carb like indypower says.
Always check the easy and simple stuff first.
