I am trying to help my father configure the spring for the linkage in his snowblower's carburetor. It's an Ariens 624e, with a 6hp Tecumseh engine. He cannot figure out how to connect the spring/hooks and wire to the throttle system on this vertical engine. I've attached a picture of the spring and wire. Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! photo 1.jpg

Only thing I can ad is snow blowers are mostly horizontal engines (side shaft). Lawn mores are usually vertical (bottom shaft).

You could try one of these videos, but most of them are for old engines and your springs look pretty new.

You should have one rod between the throttle and the carb and the other between the carb and the governor arm.

If you had a picture of the carb / engine maybe someone can figure it out by looks.
