Saw this single stage blower for sale locally:
Murray 7522ES Snow Blower | Snowblowers | Charlottetown | Kijiji

I may go have a look and if in reasonable repair offer $150.

My 29 year single daughter bought her first home. Thought this might make a good house warming gift.

I am not familiar with these units, but with a 7.5 Briggs I am thinking it may be reasonably powered.

Anyone familiar with these?

I couldn't find any reviews or videos, but I found a Snapper 822 on Youtube and it appears to be the same machine

I wouldn't pay more than $50 MAX! That snowblower is old. I prefer to pay $25. My suggestion, move on.

Might take peak anyway. This a secondary blower to clear my deck and as a back-up to my Honda HSS724. I am not as handy as many on here. I can do basic maintenance, but buying something requiring repair is beyond my expertise and time. I am what you call half handy.

Single stage repairs are replace belt, cable, carburetor, primer bulb, rubber paddles, all a half handy person can do.
