Hello folks,

Good morning and greeting from Ottawa.
I am new in this forum.
I currently shop for buying a snow blower.
I have had 2 offers (options): Toro 24" and Craftman 27"
Toro Power Max® 724 OE (37779) ($1100), 24 "
and the 27 "11.5 TP Gas Dual Stage Snowblower
CRAFTSMAN® / MD ($1000)
I need your expertise to help me make the right choice.
Thanks in advance

Are you able to tell us more about your needs:

- How much snowfall do you see?
- Type of snow e.g. light or wet?
- How large is the EOD (end of driveway) snow pile?
- How much storage space do you have?

But as a default answer I'd say the Toro Power Max 724 OE. Better brand that is easier to maneuver. 27" is both a blessing (clearing large straight areas quicker) and a curse (harder to get into tight areas/between vehicles/turn/etc).

Big Thanks for all your comments.
It is very appreciated
- The quantity varies; An average of 20 to 30 cm, can be much more
- Type of snow : light and/or wet
- How large is the EOD (end of driveway) snow pile - average 40 cm
- The space for parking is 4 cars maximum
- I have a storage shed
Thanks

Another vote for the Toro. Keep in mind Craftsman is manufactured by MTD. MTD is one of those polarizing brands....you either love'em or hate'em...

Hmmm.. The 4 car parking might require a few more passes with the little plastic 24 inch Toro, but long term, I think it will hold up better than the craftsman. They are just not as sturdy of machines as they used to be. Pretty much like all Craftsman products now a days. (personal opinion)
