Hey guys

Been scratching my head. I have an older canadian hs928 needed recoil changed. I tried figuring out how to get it off my hs928 but the battery box on the handlebars is in the way. The handlebars are welded to the engine mounting plate. Decided to leave it for a couple years. Now the coil is gone so back to square one needing to figure out how to get the recoil off. Any help would be appreciated. Please

Removing an engine is not that big a deal on a snowblower … unhook a couple cables, 4 bolts and a belt … no biggie.

You make it sound easy. Can't be as hard as changing the drive shaft.

It really only needs to move back an inch or so.

Thank you again.
