Toro has quitely announced a new 60V electric battery Power Clear self-propelled snow blower
It looks a lot like the gas 721 but with electric motor.

Compared to the 60V e21, this features dual battery slots, rubber paddles, and a flexible scraper bar.
This new model requires a combined minimum of 4Ah to run. The original 60V e21 could run off a single 2Ah battery.

Gotta say... with the red, blue and silver paint job, this thing looks like Optimus Prime. :p

Hmm does that charger in the 39921 - 10ah (7.5Ah + 2.5Ah) Kit only charge one battery at a time?

Seems like chute control was also an afterthought here, as I don't see any controls other than the directional lever on the chute.

The e21 had a 20 hour rating on the scraper bar, wonder what consumables end up being on this with the auger and scraper bar.

Some specifications from Toro's website. The e21 appears to be better than this new model .

That can't be right, even Canadian
I picked up an open box snow joe 21, 100V, for less than $100, only 40 minute drive
BATTS WERE $60 EACH ON ebay last summer...only 3AH so good for about 10-15minutes at full power, but who cares? You couldn't even buy a motor/controller package from China for that amount.

Yeah, this unit will have less run time and less throwing distance than their previous 60V single stage because on this one the paddles are scraping the ground, causing constant increased auger resistance, and providing the self propelled effect. It sucks that they didn't incorporate the chute control handle from the steel augered 60V version, but this is supposed to be a "commercial" version so they keep things as simple and featureless as possible to increase reliability at the expense of convenience. Toro is famous for this, but it sucks because it would be the machine more people would buy if it had a chute control.
