hi everybody,
My dad had an old Noma 5hp snowblower he used up until a couple of years ago. But moved to Florida so gave me the old beast. I put it in the shop and took the front auger assembly of the unit and took it apart and greased it up and was putting it back together and realized that I forgot which way the pully went. It has 2 bolts on one side and is flush on the other. Question is do the bolts face the auger or the engine side?

Every one I have ever seen had the set screws facing the auger and the flush side facing the engine. When you go to put it 2 halves back together it should be obvious as flipped one way and it won't line up.

Now, if you are talking about the smaller engine pulley then those set screws normally face the engine.

Thanks for the reply. It is the one nearest the auger so will turn that around tonight.
