Did a Quick Chute Upgrade on an Ariens ST824. Probably took 15 Minutes or so with a Whizzer Wheel and a Drill. Photos are Self Explanatory. Chute was from a Noma

Nice idea to make tabs. Then if you have a welder you can give it extra support.

Now you just have to find a junk machine to get the chute from.

I have a Welder, but don't really need it here . It's held on Solidly with the Bolts. Not the First Time I've used this Method. Thanks for the Interest.

Jack, did you get a chance to try it out in the snow yet?? Make any difference?? I have 2 of those NOMA chutes here and was going to try something similar. I like the height and it seems a shame to scrap them.

Thanx, Jay

Jay, I've used these before with Very Good Results. I've also used Toro Chutes, but they are a bit on the Narrow Side. Original chute was the short one with low throwing angle.

Added an Impeller Seal Today, and Tested it on what Snow was Throwable with Good Results.
