Hi, I am a new member and I need some help with repairing my Montgomery Ward snow blower (Gilson) 5 hp dual stage, model Gil 35211 B. I am having trouble installing the traction drive control switch lever. Can anyone provide me with a picture of how it is to be installed or at least be able to explain how it should be done. When I aquired the machine the lever was bent. I straigtened it and purchased a new switch. Now I cannot decifer how it should be installed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chuck,

Is it the mechanical or electrical set-up that's troubling you?

Electrically you use the common and N.C. terminals. Nothing goes on N.O. if you have a 3 pole switch.

It wants to just click down when the shifter drops in to neutral.
