I have a model #DB7651-24, Powersmart snowblower. I’m trying to change the auger belt. I took the lower, and upper, plastic belt guards off. However, when trying to feed the new belt onto the pulley, I can’t get the belt between the bolt heads that hold the drive, and auger pulleys in place. Anyone know how to figure this out!

You need to split the machine to replace the belt. Instructions are given in the manual from around page 20. There is a link below to the manual which is for a similar model to yours. If you have your original manual, refer to the maintenance section for instruction on belt changes

Hopefully, the belt you got is designed for power equipment, not just a fan belt for a car. Outdoor Power equipment (OPE) require much stronger belts that automotive belts. They are subject to shock loads all the time.
