A friend of mine is helping a friend of his attach a 842.240626 snowthrower attachment to a Sears 917.273061 tractor. I think the guy got the snowthrower really cheap in a garage sale and it probably says Sears on it , so he thinks it will fit ANY Craftsman tractor. LOL.
I'm thinking that the 842. is a Roper manufactured snowthrower?
Any one out there have any leads on a download of an owners manual.
I've already looked on the Sears site and nothing shows for that model.

It may fit. 842 was made by Haban. They made many attatchments for many brands. Your tractor 917 was made by American Yard Products. If you ask here, you have a real good chance of getting a solid answer.
